Whatever you paste may be stored, logged, or read by people who run the service. Policies differ. Your habit should not depend on reading the fine print every Tuesday.
Do not paste
- Passwords, one-time codes, API keys, recovery phrases.
- Health records, school records, or anyone’s ID numbers.
- Unpublished finances, payroll, or customer lists.
- Other people’s secrets they did not ask you to share with a machine.
- Anything you would not put on a postcard through town.
You can still get help. Strip names. Use a fake total. Paste the paragraph that is stuck, not the whole contract. If the work is that sensitive, do it on paper or in a tool your workplace already trusts.
